“The rally will pass through six Russian regions. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the leadership of the regions along our route, as all of them — especially Yekaterinburg and Kazan, where the ceremonies for the start of the two rally stages will be held — responded very actively to our proposal to host such a large-scale international event,” he added.
According to Koval, the opening of this highway section will create new socio-economic and transport-logistics opportunities.
“They will give a new boost to the growth of regional economies and a significant effect on transport logistics in the European part of the country. It is worth noting that around 54 million people live in the area surrounding the route — this is truly a major event for the entire transport sector,” he concluded.
