BRICS Road Rally

Partner universities of the Road Rally have been identified

“The BRICS Road Rally on the high-speed roads of the “Russian Highways” State Company will take place from August 9th to 15th.

The organizer is the National Association of Infrastructure Companies (NAIC), with the support of the “Russian Highways” State Company, the BRICS Business Council, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Road Rally is included in the BRICS 2025 events plan.

The event route consists of two stages:

1. Yekaterinburg – Kazan: “Youth” Stage;

2. Kazan – Moscow: Stage for Representatives of the BRICS Business Community.

The “Youth” stage starts in Yekaterinburg. The official opening ceremony will take place at the Yekaterinburg-EXPO site.

International students from BRICS countries studying at Russian universities such as MADI, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Moscow State University, Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, and MIIT Russian University of Transport will participate in the Road Rally.

The students will finish in Kazan, where they will pass the baton to the Road Rally participants – representatives of the business community from BRICS countries.

As a reminder, in pursuance of the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation regarding the development of the “Russia” automobile route, the State Company will complete the construction of the M-12 “Vostok” highway to Yekaterinburg in 2025. The BRICS Road Rally along the Yekaterinburg – Moscow route is timed to coincide with the official launch of traffic on the Dyurtyuli-Achit section of the highway.

As part of the Road Rally, representatives of construction, logistics, and financial organizations from participating and invited BRICS countries will familiarize themselves with the road infrastructure of our country and the culture of 8 regions along the Yekaterinburg – Moscow route. Official meetings and events will be held with the participation of regional authorities and event partners.
